Our Journey
Elite Architectural Bureau was founded in 2010 by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, a visionary architect with deep roots in Ghanaian culture and international training from the Architectural Association in London. What began as a small design studio in Accra with just three dedicated architects has evolved into one of West Africa's premier architectural practices, with offices in Accra, Kumasi, and our newest location in Sekondi-Takoradi.
Our growth has been guided by a commitment to harmonizing contemporary design principles with Ghana's rich architectural heritage. Throughout our journey, we've prioritized sustainable development practices and community engagement, believing that exceptional architecture must serve both its immediate inhabitants and the broader social context.
In 2018, our landmark project for the Tema Cultural Center received international recognition from the Royal Institute of British Architects, establishing our reputation for innovative design that respects local traditions while embracing technological advancement. This success catalyzed our expansion into premium residential architecture, where we've developed a distinctive approach that balances luxury with sustainability.
Today, as we prepare for our ambitious 2025 projects in Sekondi-Takoradi, we bring with us fifteen years of experience, a diverse team of 45 professionals, and an unwavering commitment to architectural excellence that enhances the lived experience of our clients while contributing positively to Ghana's built environment.
